The Vision

We seek to nurture ideas and actions that interpret and manifest Quaker values for the 21st century, in harmony with kindred spirits from wherever they come. Grounded in the worshipping community of Quakers, the New Jordans Programme aims to engage with the world as we find it and with the challenges that face us all. The connecting thread for all the work of the programme will be the values that Friends share with many others - such as tolerance, understanding, mutual respect, bringing out the best in people and seeking peceful solutions to conflict.

We are creating a web portal Quakers in the World to bring resources and information on what Quakers have done and are doing in the world within the reach of all who have access to the internet.
